In most cases, (fast) fashion is made in faraway countries under terrible working conditions. In addition, the production process of cotton and other fabrics requires enormous amounts of water, chemicals and CO2.

We wanted to do this differently. Therefore, we have produced a 100% organic cotton, GOTS certified, collection together with Le Cafe Noir Studio, Lizzy Van Der Ligt and Unrobe. We’ve visited the factory and returned totally overwhelmed by their production process. So many steps! It just seemed impossible to design, grow the cotton, produce, check, redesign, ship etc. shirts for fast fashion prices under €10,-.
